VAUTID at SOLIDS 2022
Leading trade fair for granulate, powder and bulk solids technologies in Germany
From June 22nd to 23rd, 2022, after a two-year Corona break, the leading trade fair SOLIDS 2022, which was planned for 2020, took place again in Dortmund. The trade fair for granulate, powder and bulk solids technologies in Germany was offered for the first time this year by the organizer Easyfairs as a trade fair trio with the trade fairs Recycling Technology and Pumps & Valves. The combination of the three trade fairs was well received by exhibitors and the public, because the processes of pouring, recycling and pumping are closely linked.
On the two days of the fair, 6,254 visitors used the opportunity again face-to-face with the experts from around 500 exhibitors for the areas of plant and mechanical engineering, construction and building materials industry, disposal/recycling, glass industry, metal industry, stone, earth and mining exchange the latest technology related to the production and handling of bulk materials.
VAUTID presented solutions in the field of metal-based wear protection to the visitors in Hall 4. Among other things, a new material was presented, VAUTID 800, which has a particulary smooth surface and is suitable for applications in which the conveyed or processed medium easily adheres to surfaces and it is important to avoid material accumulation or blockages. The construction parts presented, made of overlay-welded composite plate and high-chromium cast iron, extend the service life of machines and systems in the long term.
The visitors were particularly impressed by the sustainablilty of the wear solutions presented by VAUTID. Metal wear solutions used to extend the life of machinery and equipment offer both economic and environmental benefits. VAUTID solutions not only save money, but also strenghten the “Green Finger Print” of their customers.
