VAUTID machining workshop at Vietnamese plant inaugurated in April 2023

As part of a project launched in mid 2021, VAUTID and its partner UP Vietnam have successfully implemented a brand new machining workshop for highly specialized castings in Hai Duong, Vietnam.
On April 26, 2023, the official inauguration of the world standard machining workshop in Vietnam took place in a festive ceremony. The project was realized by an international project team with colleagues from UP Vietnam, UP Taiwan and VAUTID Germany.
An existing UP plant in Vietnam near Hanoi was completely renovated and core refurbished before the equipment for machining was installed.
On a total area of 1,800 m², a storage area with a rack capacity of more than 300 pallets and an office with two meeting rooms were set up next to an air-conditioned, completely newly equipped machining area and adjacent facilities.
To ensure the extremely high VAUTID quality expectations, machines and components from Asia and Europe were combined by the international projct team to a unique equipment standard.
From this new plant, VAUTID will be able to supply the Asian markets with machined castings and expand the installed capacity at UP and VAUTID GROUP worldwide.
